Hindusthani Musical School Iman Kalyan was born out of the educational vision of Sangeet Ratna Pt. Sant Kumar, a Musical educationalist of the Twentieth century in South India. He had an idea of building the lost knowledge of music in the present youth for the Future. Established in 2005 as Hindusthani Musical School, it undertook path-breaking initiatives in Indian Musical education with the introduction of a modern curriculum, insistence on academic discipline, and adoption of higher education practices with the support of creative and dedicated teachers. Later on, the Karnataka State Government identified it as a School with Potential for Excellence in 2014.
